The Smoke Daddy Cold Smoker is a very easy to use and install smoking tool. This page will show the basics of getting started with the smoker. Here you can determine if the Smoke Daddy will meet your needs.
The Smoke Daddy will fit walls up to two inches thick. If you need to fit a Smoke Daddy to thicker walls, please email us. We can provide a longer tube, up to for a four inch wall, to meet your needs.
For installing the smoker, you will need:
A drill to drill the appropriate size opening in your smoke chamber.
Pair of Channel Locks or pliers.
The smoker can work with tubes 7/8" and 1" diameter. Also, the smoke tube can be adjusted in length as shown in the picture.
When you drill the appropriate size hole, simply attach the smoker with the channel locks, light the smoker, and you're smokin'!
Lighting is as simple as using a propane torch or a piece of charcoal. The picture shows using a small propane torch as a lighter.
We also have a picture showing 'thick wall' application of the Smoke Daddy.
Thin Blue Smoke
For thin blue smoke, it is strongly recommended to use hardwood charcoal mixed with pellets and/or woodchips.
